Carbon footprint:
a record we chose to keep.
Beyond obligation
For our company, recording our carbon footprint is not a legal requirement. We do it on our own initiative, because we believe that responsibility towards the environment does not begin when a regulation demands it. It begins with knowing precisely where you stand and what you can improve.
Why it matters to our customers
The companies we work with are recording the emissions of their supply chains ever more systematically. The printed materials they buy are part of that chain. With a documented report from their supplier, their quality or sustainability team can work with real data rather than generic estimates.
Methodology
The record is based on an internationally recognised methodology and follows the same principles as our ISO 9001 quality management system: documentation, traceability and regular review. We always take the stricter approach, so that the result is reliable rather than flattering.
The footprint of your own product
Not all printed materials have the same footprint, because each category has different material and energy requirements. In addition to the corporate report, we therefore issue a report for a specific product category, so that customers see the footprint that genuinely corresponds to their own printed materials.
Reduction starts in production
A record has value only when it leads to improvement. In our production, a lower footprint is the result of the way we work:
- Less waste. The True-Up™ innovation and checks at every stage reduce make-ready waste, time and energy per job.
- Responsible materials. European raw materials with full traceability, and food-grade inks and varnishes free from harmful heavy metals.
- Recycling. Materials left over from production are sent for recycling.
- Right first time. Every reprint avoided is paper, ink and energy not consumed.
Available on request
The reports are available in Greek and English, together with a description of the methodology. You can request them from our Downloads page.
Our position
For us, environmental responsibility is not a statement but a process: we measure, document, improve and review, with the same consistency we apply to the quality of every printed item.
