Used primarily as a design technique, Spot UV is a creative way to add depth and contrast through varying levels of sheen and texture.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spot UV process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The spot UV varnish is applied using the same\u00a0offset printing method\u00a0as your printed pieces. A clean ink fountain in the printing press is filled with the spot UV varnish and a new plate with the spot gloss image is inserted.
