The exact caliper is given on each paper\u2019s data sheet and we confirm it before production.<\/p><h2 class=\"tp-h3\">Where each quantity matters<\/h2><div class=\"tpg-rows\"><div><b>01<\/b><p><b>Feel and stiffness \u2192 caliper.<\/b> The hand senses thickness, not weight. Two 300 g\/m\u00b2 cards on different papers do not feel the same.<\/p><\/div><div><b>02<\/b><p><b>Spine width \u2192 caliper.<\/b> Spine = (pages \u00f7 2) \u00d7 sheet caliper. Example: 200 pages on 125 \u00b5m paper = 100 sheets \u00d7 0.125 mm = 12.5 mm, plus the cover.<\/p><\/div><div><b>03<\/b><p><b>Opacity \u2192 weight and bulk.<\/b> On light papers the text on the reverse shows through.
